Who we are
Hardzy is a hardware delivery platform operated from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our app, website, or WhatsApp ordering, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information - name, email, and phone number when you sign up, via our authentication provider (Supabase).
- Delivery addresses - the addresses you save for order delivery.
- Order and payment information - items purchased, order value, and payment status. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your card, UPI, or bank details ourselves - Razorpay handles that directly under their own privacy policy.
- Photos you upload - if you use our photo-order feature to identify a hardware product, the photo is analyzed by an AI vision service to match it against our catalog. Photos are used only to identify the product you're looking for and are not used for any other purpose.
- WhatsApp messages - if you contact us or place orders via WhatsApp, we receive your phone number and message content through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform in order to respond to you and process your order.
- Usage data - basic analytics on how you use the app (pages visited, searches made) to help us improve the product.
How we use your information
- To process and deliver your orders.
- To identify products from photos you upload (photo-order feature).
- To send order confirmations, delivery updates, and respond to support requests via WhatsApp, email, or in-app notifications.
- To improve our product matching and recommendations.
- To prevent fraud and abuse of our platform.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Hardzy:
- Supabase - authentication and database hosting.
- Razorpay - payment processing.
- Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform) - sending you order and delivery messages via WhatsApp, if you opt to communicate with us that way.
- AI service providers (OpenAI) - analyzing photos you upload for product identification.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at hello@hardzy.in or via WhatsApp at +91 96118 53247.
Data retention
We retain your account and order information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with our legal and tax obligations. Photos uploaded for product identification are not retained beyond what's needed to complete that identification.
